GenNow Network Austin chapter.
This year, two million people in the United States will face a cancer diagnosis. Cancer care often means frequent medical appointments and travel far from home to get the best treatment. Transportation and lodging are two of the most common access to care challenges for patients.
The American Cancer Society works to remove barriers to timely, high-quality cancer care. We award grants to health system partners that help alleviate the strain of transportation and lodging for people with cancer. Health systems can address these urgent patient needs in ways that work best for their communities to improve outcomes and remove the financial burden.
Your support of our 2025 Fork Cancer will help fill a critical gap to improve outcomes alleviating a financial burden for cancer patients.
For more than 10 decades, the American Cancer Society has been dedicated to pursuing better outcomes for every cancer, every life. Today, more people are surviving cancer than ever before, but there is still work to be done. Join us, support us, and help us end cancer as we know it, for everyone.
